The Velvetines will be headlining in London in both May and June 2012:

31st May – Nambucca, Holloway Road

22nd June – 100 Club, Oxford Street : This is going to be a massive show for the band and we will keep you informed of details as they come.

Wow what a gig! Massive thanks to V’s fans who came and any new fans we made last night. And big thanks too to our friends The Zarrs and to James @FeedMeMusic for the show. It was a real eclectic mix of sounds on the night and headliner Sonia Leigh put in a fantastic set. We had an amazing time and we were really pleased that our newest song  ”Youth Anthem”  got our biggest cheer! We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. Here’s a couple of pics from the show. Arthur wins the “100 Club best spot for a picture” award – awesome pose in front of the famous 100 decal. We will be headlining 100 Club in June and will keep you posted – EVERYONE MUST COME!

Friday 27th January saw 161 excited people ram into the O2 Academy 2 Islington to see the Velvetines headline with support from Komla and Billy Gregory. Big thanks go out to both Billy and Komla for putting on fantastic sets! We had an amazing night and were uber-pleased that our brand new (as yet untitled) song had a massive impact with the crowd. Thank you all for coming and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
